Maloop

Maloop is one of those places we keep coming back to as a family because it just works when you’ve got kids in tow. Tucked away in a leafy garden setting, it feels calm, spacious, and like a proper break from the city — which instantly makes meals feel more relaxed.

One of the biggest wins for us is just how much green space there is. The kids can explore, wander around, and burn off a bit of energy without us constantly having to shush them or keep them glued to their seats. It’s so much more forgiving than a tight indoor restaurant and makes the whole experience easier for everyone.

Food-wise, it’s a hit across the board. The beef skewers are always a win with our kids — simple, tasty, and reliably devoured. And then there’s the dessert… because of course they’ve gone and put an irresistible melt-in-the-middle chocolate pudding on the menu. One of those desserts you order knowing full well you’re not planning to share (but probably will).

What we love most is that Maloop feels both easy and special at the same time. You can settle in for a proper meal, let the kids relax and explore, and actually enjoy your food while it’s still warm — which, as parents, feels like a small but very real luxury.

Whether it’s lunch or dinner, Maloop is a brilliant family-friendly spot that manages to feel relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable for everyone.
